What Am I Working On?
At any given moment, I am working on poetry, essays, playwriting, artworks, story concepts, etc. I'll always be happy to talk more about those! But here are some insights into the main, longer-term projects I got going on:
The Exiled Prince
At this stage, The Exiled Prince is just a story concept that I am slowly fleshing out. In essence, it follows Eric, our beforementioned prince, after he finds out he's a bastard (and not the King's son at all) in a spectacularly catastrophic disaster. He's then exiled, and meets Rohan, the mute crown prince of a neighboring kingdom, and Kias, his most loyal subject with a turbulent past of his own.

This description may not do the story service, but it's a character-driven tale about families, and healing, and war, and politics... Relatable coming-of-age things, and less relatable being-a-prince things.

Girls!
I swear that's a placeholder title.
This is a simple slice-of-life story concept that follows a group of teens from early High School until well into college— particularly, two girls and how they become girlfriends, and all the classic trials and tribulations of growing up and navigating school drama, friendships, coming out, relationships, and all those sweet youthful themes.
It's just supposed to be a wholesome, feel-good story :)

Rant: in a perfect world, I'd love for this story to be a graphic novel. However, because of my wrist issues (and other constraints), that's not really possible. But that's where I'd like this to go, and I'll do my best to either compromise or make it happen lol.

Tales of Sora
What happens when a magical alien soldier runs away to Earth, meets a human, and creates a golem who cannot die?
I don't know either, because I haven't written it yet.

This story concept legitimately started as a joke when I was asked what sort of cartoon I'd create if I could. And then I got attached to the characters, and now they exist rent-free in my head. It'd probably be one of those things that starts of silly, then slowly adds more lore until we have an outright moral and literal war between worlds or something.

Okay, to say I'm actively working on this would be a lie, but to leave it out would be a disservice to it.

Alabaster Isles
Also a placeholder title, maybe. This one doesn't have any visuals to it, and although it is a relatively new project, it's probably the one I spent the most time thinking about lately. This is still a baby project, but in my head, it's an epic character-driven fantasy book series. It follows our main character, Forrest Gabriel, son of a deceased tyrant King disguised as a cousin of the remaining Royal Family, from the very day in his early childhood when a mystical boy washed upon the kingdom's shore, far removed from the distant white islands of legends.
A Boy Named November
I want to participate in one of these writing challenges like NaNoWriMo! For that, I selected this very very old story I came up with when I was about 13, and really into long titles (the original title is "A Boy Named November and The Anti-Social Social Club".) It's meant to be the most young-adult book ever, about a kid, November, being forced to pair up with another kid and follow through a list of bonding activities, and how they end up going way beyond that and learning about themselves and having their view of the world challenged all those YA things.
This will probably be the first complete novel I write, to test the waters. I talked a bit more about this on a post, Project Plans.
I hesitate to share too much on this, but here are some sketches I got started with :)
